Reports to: Outlet Manager, Service Captain & Bar Manager
- The Server position is expected to learn everything there is to know about every meal and beverage served in the Outlet, as well as to gain a comprehensive understanding and working knowledge of excellent food service. In general, you will be required to:
• Provide timely, accurate, professional and friendly service.
• Receive food & beverage orders from guests and serve guests at their table
• Be the eyes, ears and nose of the guest; and ensure that you never deliver a poor quality item to the guest – always check everything first
• Build rapport with all visitors, and pamper them with the best care we can give them as guests in our home.
• Demonstrate accuracy in all cash handling procedures, if required.
• Must be knowledgeable in the art of selling beverages to guests
• Perform Server duties for functions/events in remote/satellite bars, as required.
• Must follow all systems/procedures for the Outlet as directed by superior staff.
• Respects and protects all Company assets, facilities & equipment
• Keep all equipment in good working order.
• Communicates bar (and other) maintenance and repair needs to the Service Captain or Outlet Manager as needed.
• Always display a positive attitude towards guests
• Always ask for help in dealing with guest questions/concerns
• Report all complaints to the Manager on Duty
• Report obvious mistakes in food/beverage quality
• Supply all information requested
• Assist with training of subordinate staff
• Attend all training course that may be relevant for the position

• High school diploma, and prior experience in a bar and restaurant
